THE IMPORTANCE OF PUBLIC POLICIES FOR THE EFFECTIVENESS OF HUMAN RIGHTS TO SAFETY AND EDUCATION IN BRAZIL
Abstract
This article on the importance of public policies for the implementation of human rights to security and education in Brazil aims to address possible public policies to inhibit violence in schools. The research is justified because school violence has become a serious public health problem in the country as recognized by the Ministry of Education, requiring the application of public policies to change this reality, which is an evident violation of human rights. To this end, the study will be based on deductive and inductive approach methods and qualitative procedures based on bibliographical, documentary and legal research. As an initial hypothesis, it is argued that repressive public policies are not the best way to solve the problem. In conclusion, it was found that the State needs to implement preventive public policies through education and together with the family to prevent this violence from being perpetuated in the educational sphere.
